INDO-CHINA EXPERIENCE - 4 WEEKS This tour shows you the best of Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam - known as Indochina. Having recently opened their borders to travelers there are many delights waiting to be explored. Take part in the Central Thailand Tour visiting the provinces of Phitsanulok, with a visit to the Elephant Camp. Also explore the historical town of Sukothai and the charming ancient capital-Ayutthaya. Vietnam is the country of contrasts, best summed up by the difference between the relaxed and placid capital Hanoi which you will visit, and the hectic Ho Chi Minh City, known under its old name of Saigon. In Cambodia we will visit the Archeological and world famous sites of Angkor Wat, taking a guided tour into the ruins and spending adequate time around the sites. We will also visit the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, and a visit to the National museum will also be part of the itinerary. Not to forget, we will try local cuisine and will be meeting people all across our fabled journey. |

Sukhothai Sukhothai, which literally means "Dawn of Happiness" is about 427 km north of Bangkok and was founded in 1238. Sukhothai is one of the former capitals of Thailand. During the Sukhothai rule in the 13th century, the city became famous for its innovative style of Buddha statues and architecture. The particular style influences Thai art until today.
Ayutthaya Ayutthaya city is the capital of Ayutthaya province in Thailand. In 1767 the city was destroyed by the Burmese army, and the ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya historical park, which is recognized internationally as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Phitsanulok Phitsanulok is an important and historic city in lower northern Thailand and is the capital of Phitsanulok Province, which stretches all the way to the Laotian border. Phitsanulok is one of the oldest cities in Thailand, founded over 600 years ago. It’s a very beautiful region surrounding by stunning scenery.
Cambodia Situated in the heart of Southeast Asia between Thailand, Laos and Vietnam, Cambodia went undiscovered for centuries. Cambodia has a wealth of natural beauty and a rich heritage, which can be best shown by the amazing temples at Angkor, the most spectacular being Angkor Wat. The country is now slowly becoming a popular destination for tourists where people come to immerse themselves in this interesting culture and to see the amazing sites that this country has to offer.
Vietnam Vietnam offers many different environments… from the hustle and bustle and noise of mopeds and street sellers in Hanoi, to the peaceful settings of world heritage sites like the Tomb of Minh Mang, to the beautiful islands and beaches set over 2000 miles of coastline, and many nature parks.
There are also many opportunities for adventure activities which all add to the experience. Above all, it is the combination of the welcoming people and the unusual and amazing food that are most likely to impact you the most.
