Elephants Thailand - 1 Week

 

Experience Thailand at its best.

During this program you will have the chance to help Thai mahouts (elephant riders) with their daily activities. In this project you will learn about how to take care of the elephants and which position they have in Thai culture.

Volunteer activities will be washing, feeding riding and walking the elephants everyday and help the people in the ecological center.

During the weekend, it is possible to go rafting in the nearby river.

Location

The ecological centre is located 380 km north of Bangkok in the province Phitsanulok. During this project you will stay in the region of Wang Thong. Your new home will be in our ecological centre in Wang Thong, Phitsanulok province.

 

Accommodation & Meals

During the whole duration of your stay you will stay in eco-style Jungle Huts with a shower and the water is always cool – nice and refreshing in the heat. All food is included during your stay.

The meals will be typical Thai fare, including plenty of rice dishes.
